The food was amazing, as always!! We got the duck and I can't remember which steak I got, but it was the one with the red wine reduction sauce and asparagus, SO GOOD! The service was top notch, we had Andrew as our server, went there for our anniversary and they had a card on our table for us and would have had a free champagne toast but I'm 7 months pregnant so instead they gave us a free slice of cake. Very nice and delicious. The ambiance is always nice, kind of low lit, but it's the feel they're going for. Setting the mood at a bit romantic and relaxing. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend The Fed for a nice dinner! We went on a Wednesday night and made reservations and I'm glad we did because it was busy. Rotating menu, all farm to table and all tasty! We got the focaccia with hot butter, it was very good but not super oily like traditional focaccia. My husband got a makers mark on the rocks and the pasta alla pomodoro which was tasty with a little kick. I got the gnocchi saltado which was delightful, one of those meals you think about for months after. Our total bill was $93. Service was good but a tad slow. They had a live guitar player and singer but it was quiet enough to talk, beautiful and cozy place for a date night or a night out with your girlfriends.

If I could leave 6 stars I would. My wife and I had our first dinning experience here tonight and I don't normally leave reviews, but this place is a gem. An organic farm to table scratch kitchen which was magnificent from beginning to end. I get a burger most places I go cuz I'm a simple dude, but this burger was legit the best I've ever had. My wife's gnocchi tenderloin and beet risotto were choice, and the carmel apple cheesecake was ridiculous. I hate to say it was also the best cheesecake I've ever had after giving the burger 100 stars, but the truth is it was also the best cheesecake we have ever had too. Ask for Kylie, she steered us right and her service was perfect. Additionally, Mark the manager is a weath of hospitality and beverage knowledge as well. Bring your husband's, bring wives, bring your kids, and your family, cuz everybody's got time for this... star star star star star

Called up to make a reservation at was put on hold for five minutes, after which I eventually hung up. Called back, and nobody answered. Not off to a great start. Eventually called back later and was able to make a dinner reservation with no issues whatsoever. Very kind and easygoing. Had to reschedule the reservation for the next day, no problem at all. The dinner was delicious. The ambiance was lovely. The waiter, Matthew, was awesome. Kind, kept us up to date as to when our order/drinks would be coming up, etc. Ordered the cauliflower appetizer, steak bites appetizer, kale salad, and chicken limon. All were extremely well executed and I was left relatively floored. Drinks were great (lemon drop martini and Fed Old Fashioned) but were a little on the more expensive side. Numbers you'd typically see in a downtown metropolis. Nonetheless, will definitely be back and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Cheryl and I had a few hours before Counting Crows & Santana concert at Pine Knob Theatre. Fortunately, we stumbled on The Fed in beautiful downtown Village of Clarkston. The restaurant is a chic restored bank building. Our first clue it would be fabulous was the herb boxes out front of the restaurant. Cheryl ordered the Scallops over wild mushroom risotto and I ordered gnocchi saltado. As usual, we shared our bites and added a wonderful bottle of Predator Cabernet Sauvignon ( a new favorite ). Our waitress was a lovely woman with loads of experience and recommendations. I'm certain we will return for future concerts and definitely will return to The Fed

Went here for brunch recently with some friends. I had been here a few years ago and loved it. This second visit with friends did not disappoint. The decor is beautiful and our waiter was very friendly. We started with the beignets which were delicious, highly recommend getting those if you're in for brunch. They have a nice selection of brunch cocktails on the menu if that's your thing. I believe they have a bar downstairs with live music certain nights of the week which I definitely want to check out next time.

Poppin' atmosphere - a live band greeted us at the lower level upon entrance. Upstairs dining room is sublimely decorated. They serve a good Sancerre on the wine menu for a fair (as restaurants go) price. Menu feels limited - need a fish special/option other than salmon. Red wines rule the day on the wine list, but that's fine. Our group shared fried cauliflower and 4/4 agreed it was very good. The carrots were nice. 2/4 enjoyed those. The olives were delicious. Marinade was.... Interesting. Great on approach, tasted like soap in the aftertaste. My sister and I agreed this would be an awesome happy hour destination.... If they still had happy hour! We were informed by staff they no longer do a happy hour. Service was excellent - both knowledgeable and welcoming. Price points are high for serving sizes. Don't mind paying however, since there was no cover for entertainment. If you get early dinner reservations (closer to 6/7) and retire to basement party for after- dinner cordials, it's worth the time and pretty penny.

Just watched John Wick. It made me think of this place? Why?? Idk, maybe it was the car or the dog, or the manager... Didn't have to ask for the manager, really due to the fact I wasn't in need of a room, but we did eat in the vault so kind of like The Continental?? Oh, back to the food so my review doesn't get taken down, lol. GET THE BURGER! It's awesome, fries as well, wash it down with a Michigan craft beer or some vino. Service was great, ambiance wasn't so much John Wick as it was Ozzie and Harriet Will come back, then go on a crazy adventure with my dog and Mustang!!

Had a very nice brunch before the Lions game last Sunday. We had a reservation for 4 at 10:15. We arrived a bit early and the hostess explained there would be a slight wait to give the servers and kitchen enough time to provide a great experience. We completely understood and were happy to move to the bar to grab a cocktail. We ordered mimosas and beers and before we knew it, our table was ready. Our server was wonderful. She explained the history behind the restaurant and invited us to look around the space. It's beautifully decorated was very inviting. I ordered the breakfast croque madame pizza. It was delicious. Loved the rosemary flavor in the crust! My friend got the avocado toast. So beautiful. After our brunch we went downstairs to check it out. Such a beautiful space- perfect for a party. We agreed it was a great spot and would definitely come back.
